ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Tanya, a creative problem solver, content creator, collaborator, project manager and digital experience extraordinaire! With a dedication to intersecting functionality, innovation and technical skill, I've always enjoyed thinking up new ideas and finding creative ways to bring them to life.
Originally hailing from Sydney, Australia, I have recently moved to beautiful Utrecht in The Netherlands. In my time on Earth I've been lucky enough to travel the world and experience all the wonderful things other countries and cultures have to offer. Moving to The Netherlands has felt as though the final piece of my puzzle has fallen into place. The Netherlands is a country I have always adored and held a strong affinity with. The easy going way of life, bicycle culture and resilience of the Dutch people resonates with me (maybe as I am also part Dutch!). I am also very excited to further grow and develop my creative career journey here.

In my spare time I enjoy exploring and travelling, live music, reading, foodie adventures and fitness, especially if combined with the outdoors! A perfect weekend for me would involve exploring somewhere new and enjoying the tranquility of nature on a hike or bike ride. I also have been learning Dutch with a tutor (ik kom er wel, maar het is een beetje moelijke) and have a sizeable list of places I've been exploring throughout The Netherlands from my Opa's time living in NL. This has been a special experience to connect with my Opa and my Dutch heritage. As a huge foodie, I also love to try all the things from the many diverse cultures we are lucky enough to be surrounded by and have been very much enjoying the fantastic (and delicious) bakkerij culture here in NL!

Work wise, I'm a strong communicator with a great attention to detail and the ability to build and manage strong working relationships. I hold nine years experience in creative digital solutions and strategy, spanning across project management, UX/UI design, service design, marketing, branding, communications, copywriting, digital product ownership, user research, and staff management.

Taking a human-centred design approach, I always think big picture and am ever combining my skills in design thinking, my love of collaboration and technical skills to create high value, intuitive and compelling digital product and brand experiences that bring about user and organisation aligned data driven digital innovation.

Working with mission driven, like-minded organisations and teams that love a laugh but still can hustle to get the important work done is my jam. ​
